Content on Velvet Africa has one job: make a potential client think 'I want exactly that'. Not 'wow great photo'. Not 'interesting person'. 'I want that experience — and I want it from them.'
Behind-the-scenes
Show your preparation, your tools, your process. This does two things: it builds credibility and it creates anticipation for what the experience feels like.
Session moments (with permission)
'A moment from yesterday's walking tour in Kampala' — real experiences make real impressions. Staged content looks staged. Authentic content converts.
Your expertise
A food tour guide who posts 'The 3 street food spots tourists always miss in Kisementi' is not giving away their service — they're demonstrating their knowledge. That's what gets them booked.
Client testimonials
A screenshot of a client message, a quoted review, a thank-you voice note (with permission). Social proof is the most persuasive content you can post. Use it.
2–3 pieces of content per week is the floor. Consistency beats volume. A creator who posts reliably for 6 months will out-earn a creator who posts daily for 3 weeks then disappears.
Never post client photos, names, or personal details without explicit permission. This is a privacy violation and a platform terms violation. Losing a client's trust costs more than any post is worth.
