A content subscription is recurring monthly income. A subscriber pays once per month and gets access to everything you post behind your paywall. The more subscribers you have, the more predictable your income becomes — independent of whether you have any bookings that month.
Why this matters
Bookings are time-based — you can only do so many per day. Subscriptions are not. 50 subscribers at UGX 25,000/month = UGX 1,250,000/month of passive income that grows while you sleep.
Set your subscription price
In Content Settings. Most successful creators charge between UGX 15,000 and UGX 50,000 per month. Start at the lower end and raise as your subscriber base grows.
Create subscriber-only content
Post a mix of free and paid content. Free content builds your audience. Paid content is what that audience pays to see. Make the paid content visibly better — longer, more personal, more exclusive.
Promote your subscription in every free post
End every free video or post with a clear call: 'Subscribe for the full version'. Don't assume people know your subscription exists.
Consistency is the product
Subscribers stay subscribed because you post regularly. One month of silence costs you subscribers you spent months earning. Block content creation time in your calendar like a booking.
The creators who earn the most from subscriptions post free content 3–5 times per week. The free content is the advertisement. The subscription is the product.
