A custom content request is when a client commissions you to create something specifically for them — a personalised video, a photo series, a written piece, a greeting — at a price you set. This is one of the highest-margin income streams on the platform because you're not competing with anyone else. It's made for them, by you, only once.
Set your custom content rate
In Settings → Services, you can add a 'Custom Content' service. Set a base price that accounts for your time and the exclusivity. UGX 30,000–150,000 is a common range depending on complexity.
Be specific about what's included
Duration of video, number of photos, turnaround time, revision policy. Clients who know exactly what they're buying are more likely to buy — and less likely to dispute.
Deliver on time
Custom content is a personal transaction. A late delivery damages the relationship more than a late booking does. Under-promise and over-deliver on timing.
Upsell exclusivity
Offer 'exclusive license' pricing — a custom piece the client can be certain you won't sell or post elsewhere. This commands 2–3× the standard custom rate.
Custom + PPV = powerful combination
Create custom content at a negotiated rate, then deliver it via PPV message at an agreed price. The client gets exclusivity. You get immediate payment. Both parties are protected by the platform.
