A vague service listing gets scrolled past. A specific one gets booked. The difference isn't your skill — it's how clearly you describe what the client experiences.
A specific name
'Private Kampala Food Tour' gets booked. 'Food Experience' doesn't. The more specific the name, the more real it feels — and the more the client can picture themselves doing it.
A description that sells the experience
Paragraph 1: what actually happens. Paragraph 2: how the client feels / what they walk away with. Paragraph 3: logistics (duration, what's included, meeting point).
A precise duration
'2 hours' not 'a couple of hours'. Clients use this to plan their day. Vagueness creates friction — friction kills bookings.
A price you can stand behind
Start from what you need to earn, not what competitors charge. Undercutting attracts the wrong clients and trains you to undervalue yourself.
Photos for this service specifically
Don't reuse profile photos. Show what this particular experience looks like.
Create 2–4 services at different price points — a starter, a signature, and a premium. Clients self-select. The middle option usually sells best, and the premium option makes the signature look like a deal.
Don't list services you can't deliver consistently. One broken promise destroys more trust than ten great sessions build.
Creator A lists 'City Tour' at UGX 150,000. Creator B lists 'Private Sunset Rooftop Kampala Walking Tour' at UGX 165,000. Who gets booked more?
