PPV messages let you send locked content in a direct message. The recipient pays a one-time fee to unlock it — a photo, video, or file you've priced yourself. No subscription required. No booking needed. Just one transaction per message.
Open a conversation
Any active conversation in your Messages tab. You can send a PPV message to anyone who has an unlocked conversation with you.
Select PPV type
When composing a message, tap the media/content icon and select PPV. Set your price (minimum UGX 2,000). Upload your content — it's blurred or hidden until they pay.
Client pays to unlock
They see a preview (blurred or truncated). They tap Unlock and pay. The content reveals. The money goes to your wallet.
Price by rarity, not by effort
A custom piece of content made specifically for one person commands a premium. Don't price PPV content the same as your subscription — it's exclusive, and it should feel that way.
Strategy
PPV works best as an upsell: respond to a subscriber or booking inquiry, then offer exclusive custom content at a one-time PPV price. Clients who are already engaged are the most likely to pay. Don't send PPV messages cold.
The most effective PPV creators send 3–5 PPV messages per week to warm leads — not to every subscriber. Target people who've tipped you, replied to your stories, or previously purchased PPV content.
