Ghost Mode is a PRO and PREMIUM tier feature. When enabled, your profile disappears from Explore and all search results. Clients who already have your direct link can still visit, view your services, and book you as normal. You're not invisible — you're invite-only.
When to use it
Ghost Mode is a tool for creators who have more demand than capacity, or who want to work exclusively with a known clientele. Scarcity is a positioning strategy — it's not hiding. The best restaurants in Kampala don't advertise on every billboard.
Share your profile link directly
Copy your Velvet Africa profile URL from your Settings page and share it via WhatsApp, Instagram DM, or personally. Anyone with the link can still book you.
Send it to past clients
People who've already booked you are your warmest audience. They trust you, they know the experience, and they're most likely to rebook.
Use it as a filter
Only clients who receive your link personally can find you. This pre-qualifies every client before they even reach your calendar.
Toggle off anytime
Ghost Mode is not permanent. Switch it off when you want new clients — your profile reappears in Explore immediately.
The smartest creators use Ghost Mode cyclically: go public to attract new clients, fill up, go ghost. Repeat. This keeps the calendar full without burning out on constant marketing.
Ghost Mode does not affect existing bookings. Clients who've already booked you can still message you, show up, and complete their sessions without any change.
